Microcrystalline cast stone is a new type of silicate crystalline material and one of the great achievements in the glass industry. It is made from blast furnace slag, diorite, basalt as the main raw materials, with the addition of quartz sand and a proper amount of crystallization agents. Through melting, forming, and crystallization, a microcrystalline material is produced. Microcrystalline cast stone not only has excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance but also possesses high compressive strength, flexural strength, impact resistance, and resistance to temperature changes. The thickness of microcrystalline cast stone slabs can be as thin as 10 mm, with a smooth appearance and uniform thickness.
Microcrystalline cast stone is mainly used in the metallurgy, coal, power, chemical, building materials, and other industrial sectors for wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant engineering. It is especially used in the lining of equipment such as cyclones, coal distribution boxes, coal storage bins, chutes, coal hoppers, ash hoppers, etc., significantly extending the service life and maintenance cycle of equipment. Since microcrystalline cast stone slabs are thinner than ordinary cast stone slabs, they are easier to install and reduce the weight load on equipment.
