Application Case of Cast Stone Composite Pipes at Zijin Mining’s Gold Mine
Shanxi Zijin Mining has implemented cast‑stone composite pipes for its diaphragm pump pipelines and grinding‑classification process piping. The mineral type is gold. The project was commissioned in April 2022 and has been operating smoothly and reliably ever since, processing 10,000 tonnes of raw ore per day with excellent performance and no malfunctions or abnormalities throughout the entire operation.
The Zijin Yixingzhai silver–copper–lead–zinc polymetallic deposit in Shanxi employs a semi‑autogenous grinding–Nelson gravity separation–flotation process. The flotation tailings are classified by hydrocyclone to 37 μm, with the coarse sand used for backfilling and the fine mud sent to a deep‑cone thickener for concentration. The underflow is conveyed at a solids concentration of 46%, with a slurry specific gravity of 1.47 and a pH of 4.3.
